Project WET

Project WET Cover

Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) is a nonprofit water education program and publisher for educators and young people ages 5-18. The program facilitates and promotes awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of water resources through the dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids and the establishment of internationally sponsored Project WET programs.

Hooked on Fishing CoverHooked On Fishing - Not On Drugs: The award winning drug prevention program "Hooked On Fishing - Not On Drugs" provides students with a positive alternative to drugs through fishing. It combines the teaching of sport fishing, environmental conservation and drug prevention into one powerful package. The DNR offers over twenty education programs for all audiences.  If you are a 5 year old girl, teacher, retiree, or a 'city slicker' we have a program from you.  Let us introduce to South Carolina's natural resources to you in unique and memorable ways.
